Over the years, I have used this page more like a calling card than a shopping site. Doubtless you know that mine is a one-woman business. For 21 years, I have run just about every aspect of it, including production and sales. Selling via shows, festivals and markets has been a staple of my business all these years; I have done so nearly every weekend between April and December. I get help with set up and take down, but I do all the rest alone.
I also keep several shops stocked with consignment pieces.
Keeping a home shop on the web is another layer of work. One has to pay attention to the shop on a constant basis, and selling at shows at the same time stretches the small-batch or one-of-a-kind inventory.
After 2023, big changes are planned. I hope to make this year the last for selling direct to the public via shows, festivals and markets. The plan is then to continue sales through shops and on line. I will have available work on this site, advertised on social media. As long as my health holds and supplies are in stock, I will be selling off product until it is gone. I no longer take special orders.
After the inventory is gone, then there will be destashing of supplies and equipment. But again, this will be a way off and when the time comes, I’ll share the news here and on my Plays With Glass Facebook page.
Thanks for visiting.
