Care of your Fused Glass Jewelry:
Both sterling and fine silver will tarnish, or oxidize, over time. To keep your jewelry clean, you can use a polishing cloth that is embedded with polish. Alternately, any silver polish can be used with a regular soft cloth under running water. Try to avoid getting polish on the glass. Support the silver with one hand while applying light pressure with the other. See the video below for more detailed instruction.
For local customers, I will mass-polish your jewelry for no charge, as long as you bring the work to me and pick it back up at a show. Out of town customers can mail your jewelry to me and pay return postage and handling.
I do not clean any jewelry that I have not made.
Repairs:
There are two components of most of my work: the glass and the metal. Fused glass is very strong, but can break if dropped on a hard surface. Should your glass piece break, it cannot be repaired. If I have the glass in stock, there may be an instance where I can make a new piece for you. The cost of the piece will be comparable to the original purchase price. In the unlikely instance that the silver breaks, I will replace it free of charge, with the customer paying the shipping each way.
I do not repair any work that I have not originally made.
